Our Safety Advice

Verify the identity of the person you’re dealing with through confirmed sources (name, address, and telephone number).

If an offer looks “too good to be true,” it probably is — avoid it.
How to Recognize a Scam Attempt
Most scams have one or more of these warning signs:

The person is abroad or claims to be traveling abroad.

They refuse to meet you in person.

Payment is requested via Western Union, MoneyGram, or checks.

Messages are written in poor or broken language.

Texts appear copied and pasted.

The offer seems unusually cheap or unrealistic.
